Georgia Pathways to Coverage™
Georgia Pathways to Coverage™ offers Medicaid coverage to Georgians ages 19–64 who have a household income of up to 100% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) that aren’t eligible for traditional Medicaid. To be eligible for Pathways, you must be engaged in 80 hours per month of a qualifying activity.
Qualifying activities include:
- Full-time or part-time employment
- On-the-job training
- Job readiness assistance programs
- Community service
- Vocational educational training
- Enrollment in the Vocational Rehabilitation program of the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA)
- Higher education

- All A’s Program – Eligible members in the 11th or 12th grade with all As on their report card can receive a $25 Walmart or Old Navy gift card
- Eligible members between the ages of 5–7 years old will be able to receive a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble to purchase books to read during the summer
- Members who participate in Behavioral Case Management can receive a comfort item for children
- Free booster seat for youth members entering 1st grade or turning 6 years old once they’ve completed their 6-year checkup
- A free dental exam and one cleaning every six months

How to join Amerigroup
Apply for benefits
You can apply for benefits at any time. Enrollment is year-round.
Visit the Georgia Medicaid website to check your eligibility and apply for benefits online.

After you are approved for benefits, you’ll be assigned to a health plan. You can choose a different health plan using one of the ways listed below.
