Georgia Pathways to Coverage™

Georgia Pathways to Coverage™ offers Medicaid coverage to Georgians ages 19–64 who have a household income of up to 100% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) that aren’t eligible for traditional Medicaid. To be eligible for Pathways, you must be engaged in 80 hours per month of a qualifying activity.

Qualifying activities include:

  • Full-time or part-time employment
  • On-the-job training
  • Job readiness assistance programs
  • Community service
  • Vocational educational training
  • Enrollment in the Vocational Rehabilitation program of the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA)
  • Higher education

Get the care you need from a doctor you choose. We have thousands of doctors in our plan, including many specialists.
If you need to get care in the hospital, you’re covered. Benefits also include urgent and emergency care.
Wellness visits (annual exams) are one of the best ways to help protect your health. Your coverage includes these visits and the immunizations (shots) you need to stay healthy.
If you are pregnant, all your pregnancy care, including labor and delivery, is included in your benefits. Your newborn baby’s care is also covered.
Medicaid members under age 21 and PeachCare for Kids® members under age 19 can receive an annual eye exam and glasses once every year.

After you are approved for benefits, you’ll be assigned to a health plan. You can choose a different health plan using one of the ways listed below.
